Jade – Jade is often referred to as the Stone of Dreams, but is also known as the Yu stone in China, and the Spleen Stone in Mesoamerican cultures. Etymologically speaking, the term ‘jade’ comes from the Spanish Conquistadors’ description of the Spleen Stone – piedra de hijad – which is later translated as pierre de jad in French.

Rudraksha – In Shaivism, and in the Brihajjabala Upanishad, Rudraksha is considered to originate from the tears of Rudra (also known as Shiva). Rudraksha symbolized charity and power, and it must be processed according to a very specific, traditional, and ancient set of instructions. Generally speaking, the Rudraksha can have several mukhi, or faces, each carrying its own symbolism.
